Hi! I'm Akiko. I named this website “Studio Creature” because I love making cute little creatures.
Most recently, I worked at Meta supporting communication design for the Facebook Design team.
Before Meta, I created short animated films (stop-motion) for children and held a variety of brand design and art direction roles.
At work, I enjoy transforming dry and complex information into digestible and fun designs and/or animations.
Outside of work, I enjoy studying Computer Science. My long-term goal is to marry my design background with my newfound computer science expertise to create amazing learning experiences for kids.
